Networks must service diverse variety of traffic requirements with different service demands. Recent studies have shown that optical WDM networks with MLR support efficiently respond to these requirements. In this study, we address the problem of survivable routing with wavelength and rate assignment (RWA) in MLR optical networks. A WDM MLR optical network with dedicated path protection scheme is designed and compared with SLR networks in terms of cost. Our results show that the usage of MLR property provides new opportunities and ease to solve RWA and survivability problems.trinfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessoptical WDM networksMLRroutingrate and wavelength assignment (RRWA)dedicated path protectionsurvivabilityDedicated Path Protection in Mixed-Line Optical Wdm NetworksKarma Hat Hızıı Wdm Optik İletim Aglarlnda Adanmis Yol KorumaConference Object10.1109/SIU.2013.65313032-s2.0-84880911166
