(TCSC)2010 13th IEEE International Conference on Computational Science and Engineering, CSE 2010 -- 11 December 2010 through 13 December 2010 -- Hong Kong -- 83813This paper presents a method to enhance location awareness by using semantic composition of AT-LOCATION and PART-WHOLE semantic relations. The method generates axioms that infer new location relations based on relations that are extracted by a semantic parser. Experimental study with WordNet glosses shows that the method increases the amount of location knowledge by two orders of magnitude. The precision of the results is 98%. © 2010 IEEE.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessLocation-awarenessSemantic compositionSemantic relationsSemanticsExperimental studiesLocation awarenessLocation informationOrders of magnitudeSemantic compositionSemantic relationsWordnetSemanticsEnhancing Location Information Using Semantic CompositionConference Object10.1109/CSE.2010.702-s2.0-79951592096
