Biography
Sema Misci Kip İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi Halkla İlişkiler ve Reklamcılık Bölümü'nde reklam, medya planlama ve pazarlama iletişimi alanında dersler veriyor. İlgi alanları arasında sosyal medya, web siteleri, medya planlama, reklam, bilgi yönetimi ve televizyon izleme alışkanlıkları konuları bulunuyor. Journal of Business Research, Qualitative Market Research, Public Relations Review, International Journal of Information Management, Global Media Journal, Journal of Marketing Communications dergilerinde yayınlanmış yazıları ve makaleleri bulunmakta.
Ayrıca Initiative Media (1999-2003), Universal McCann (2003) şirketlerinde Unilever, Grup Seb, Uno, Ferrero, Adidas, Kimberly Clark, Citibank, Johnson & Johnson gibi hem uluslararası hem de ulusal firmaların reklam ve medya planlama stratejileri üzerine çalıştı. 2003’ten beri İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi’nde çalışıyor ve ders veriyor.

Sema Misci Kip teaches courses on advertising, media planning and marketing communications at İzmir University of Economics, Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Advertising. Her research interests are social media, websites, media planning, advertising, knowledge management, and television viewing habits. She has published in Journal of Business Research, Qualitative Market Research, Public Relations Review, International Journal of Information Management, Global Media Journal, and Journal of Marketing Communications.
She worked at Initiative Media (1999-2003) and Universal McCann (2003) for the advertising and media planning strategies of national and international clients such as Unilever, Group Seb, Uno, Ferrero, Adidas, Kimberly Clark, Citibank, Johnson & Johnson. She has been teaching at IUE since 2003.
