Biography
Ortaöğrenimini 2012 yılında Bolu Mengen Aşçılar Anadolu Otelcilik ve Turizm Meslek Lisesi, lisans öğrenimini ise 2017 yılında İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi Mutfak Sanatları ve Yönetimi (İngilizce) ile İşletme (İngilizce) Bölümü’nde tamamladı. Yurt içinde birçok beş yıldızlı otel ile alakart restoran mutfağında; yurt dışında ise Fransa’nın Lyon kentinde bulunan iki Michelin yıldızlı restoran Le Neuvième Art ve geleneksel Fransız mutfağı restoranı Daniel et Denise'te çalıştı. Yüksek Lisans derecesini 2019 yılında Ege Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü İşletme Anabilim Dalı'ndan aldı. Doktora öğrenimine Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Turizm İşletmeciliği Anabilim Dalı'nda devam etmekte; 2020 yılından bu yana İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi Gastronomi ve Mutfak Sanatları Bölümü’nde görev yapmaktadır. Temel çalışma alanları arasında gastronomi ve mutfak sanatları, gastronomide yeni eğilimler ve turizmde tüketici davranışları yer almaktadır.

He completed his secondary education at Bolu Mengen Culinary High School in 2012, and his undergraduate studies at Izmir University of Economics, Department of Culinary Arts and Management (English) and Business Administration (English) in 2017. He worked in several five-star hotel and à la carte restaurant kitchens in Turkey; and abroad at a two-Michelin-starred restaurant, Le Neuvième Art, and a traditional French cuisine restaurant, Daniel et Denise, both located in Lyon, France. He received his MBA from Ege University, Graduate School of Social Sciences, Department of Business Administration in 2019. Since 2020, he has been working at Izmir University of Economics, Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts and continuing his doctoral studies at Dokuz Eylul University, Department of Tourism Management. His main areas of study include gastronomy and culinary arts, new trends in gastronomy and consumer behavior in tourism.
