He completed his secondary education at Bolu Mengen Culinary High School in 2012, and his undergraduate studies at Izmir University of Economics, Department of Culinary Arts and Management (English) and Business Administration (English) in 2017. He worked in several five-star hotel and à la carte restaurant kitchens in Turkey; and abroad at a two-Michelin-starred restaurant, Le Neuvième Art, and a traditional French cuisine restaurant, Daniel et Denise, both located in Lyon, France. He received his MBA from Ege University, Graduate School of Social Sciences, Department of Business Administration in 2019. Since 2020, he has been working at Izmir University of Economics, Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts and continuing his doctoral studies at Dokuz Eylul University, Department of Tourism Management. His main areas of study include gastronomy and culinary arts, new trends in gastronomy and consumer behavior in tourism.
