Dr. Değer Eryar received his Ph. D in economics from University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2009, after obtaining his BA degree in economics from Boğaziçi University. He examined how financial globalization affected real investment and shaped macroeconomic policies in Turkey. His recent areas of interest consist of labor markets, financial crises, and economic policies in the European Union. Dr. Eryar also serves in the executive board of European Research and Application Center at our university.
