dc.description.abstract | Internet of Things (IoT) refers to interConnectivity of different devices and services through applications, sensors and industrial equipments. A fundamental aspect of this interConnectivity is the transfer of the data from providers to requestors via a data transportation channel. However, the many-to-many relationship between the requestors and providers makes communication management difficult. The presence of a broker based publish/subscribe architecture between a provider and requestor facilitates this process among devices as it seamlessly arbitrates the communication. In this paper, we propose a software architecture that employs a data and context orchestrator working in collaboration with a message broker to manage communication between requestors and providers. The article presents the details of the authentication and authorization process for verifying and validating the communication. © 2017 IEEE. | en_US |
