Abstract: Future Millimeter Wave (mmWave) band communication systems are predicted to be involved in different and diverse fields. These systems will be smart with high speed that enable the emergence of fundamental and advanced services. In order to realize these systems we need the use of reconfigurable microwave components implemented based on modern guiding structures. Power dividers are considered one of the essential components for the feeding antenna system. In this paper, Re-configurable Printed Ridge Gap Waveguide (RPRGW) is deployed to implement a power divider. The simulated results show a wide bandwidth of 16 % at 38.5 GHz. These results demonstrate the merit of using this technology to implement various microwave components suitable for smart communication systems. © 2023 IEEE.
