Biography
Sertaç Kılıçkaya, 2018 yılında İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi Elektrik-Elektronik Mühendisliği Bölümü’nden bölüm birincisi ve üniversite üçüncüsü olarak mezun olmuştur. Yüksek lisansını aynı üniversitede, 1B evrişimsel sinir ağları ile motor rulman arızası teşhisi üzerine yaptığı TÜBİTAK destekli çalışmasıyla 2022’de tamamlamıştır. Şubat 2022’de doktora öğrenimine başlayan Kılıçkaya, makine öğrenmesi ve gömülü sistemlerdeki uygulamaları üzerine araştırmalar yürütmektedir. 2024 yılında Tampere Üniversitesi Signal Analysis and Machine Intelligence (SAMI) araştırma grubunda Prof. Moncef Gabbouj’un danışmanlığında araştırmacı olarak çalışmıştır. Nisan 2019’dan beri İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi’nde araştırma görevlisi olarak görev yapmaktadır.

Sertaç Kılıçkaya received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Izmir University of Economics in 2018 and 2022, respectively, as the class valedictorian. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Izmir University of Economics. Since 2019, he has been working as a research assistant in the same department. In 2024, he worked as a researcher in the Signal Analysis and Machine Intelligence (SAMI) research group at Tampere University, under the supervision of Prof. Moncef Gabbouj. His research interests include machine learning and embedded machine learning applications.
