Alanı’nda tamamlayan Tekcan, eğitimi sırasında Farbe Tekstil ve Gamze Saraçoğlu Moda Tasarım
Stüdyosu’nda staj yapma imkanı buldu. Yan Dal Programı (YDP) kapsamında Reklamcılık Bölümü’nde
eğitim aldı. 2012 yılında üniversite ikincisi olarak mezun oldu. Mezuniyetinin ardından İzmir Ekonomi
Üniversitesi Moda ve Tekstil Tasarımı Bölümü’nde araştırma görevlisi olarak çalışmaya başladı. 2015
yılında İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi Tasarım Çalışmaları Yüksek Lisans Programı’nı tamamlayan
Tekcan, doktora tez aşamasında eğitimine devam etmektedir. Yurtiçi ve yurtdışında katıldığı ortak ve
karma sergiler, yürütücülüğünü üstlendiği atölye çalışmaları bulunmaktadır.

Born in Edirne, in 1989. After graduating from TEV İnanç Türkeş High School in 2007, she attended Izmir University of Economics, Fashion Design Department with full scholarship. Tekcan, who continued her education in the field of Fashion Design Expertise, had an opportunity of internship at Farbe Textile and Gamze Saraçoğlu Fashion Design Studio. She also received education in the Department of Advertising within the frame of Minor Program. In 2012, she graduated from Izmir University of Economics as the second ranked student of the university. Since September 2012, she has been studying Design Studies at IEU and working as a research assistant in the Department of Fashion and Textile Design.
