After graduating from Atatürk High School, Ankara, I started and graduated from Faculty of Medicine, Erciyes University. I completed my compulsory service for two years in Şanlıurfa as a General Practitioner. I specialized in Histology and Embryology at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. I worked at the same Department as a staff member. I started teaching at Manisa Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine in 1998. I became an Associate Prof in 2003 and then a Prof in 2010. I worked at Ege University, in the Family Planning and Infertility Research and Application Center for 6 months. I also worked on this subject at Yale University Faculty of Medicine in 2010. My research subjects are; cancer biology, angiogenesis, apoptosis, cell signaling pathway and histochemical, immune-histochemical and ultrastructural techniques. Within this time frame I have 62 manuscripts published in SCI and SCI-E and 17 national manuscripts published. There are total of 370 citations for my published works. I have graduated 7 Masters and 3 PhD students. I participated as an executive and researcher in 1 DPT, 3 TUBITAK and 48 CBU BAP projects. During 2013 to 2015, I served as the vice-dean of the Manisa Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine overlooking the medical education. I am a board member of Turkish Society for Electron Microscopy, and member of Turkish Histology and Embryology Association and Turkish Medical Association.
