Angela Burns is an illustrator and designer born and raised in Northern Ireland. She completed her Degree in Fashion and Textile Design at the University of Ulster, Belfast in 1999. She was granted an Arts & Humanities Research Council Award to pursue a European Master of Art in Fashion and Textile Design, at Winchester School of Art, England. She graduated in 2001 following extended exchange programmes to Hogeschool voor de kunsten in Utrecht, Holland, and the Institut Francais de la Mode, Paris.
Her life and work experiences in various countries have influenced her numerous creative projects including illustration, textile and fashion design.
