| gperson.biography | Öğr. Gör. Catherine BAYDAR 2004 den bu yana İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi, Hazırlık Okulunda akademisyen olarak görev yapmaktadır. Üniversitemiz hazırlık okulunun kurs hedeflerinin belirlenmesi, ders kitap ve modül içeriklerinin hazırlanması konusunda kapsamlı çalışmalar yürütmektedir. Daha önce görev yapmış olduğu Bornova Işık Kent Eğitim Kampüsünde, “Reggio Emilia” yaklaşımı doğrultusunda okul öncesi çocuklarına İngilizce eğitim vererek, okul öncesi dönem İngilizce eğitim müfredatının tasarlanması ve uygulanmasından sorumlu olmuştur. Ayrıca ilkokul seviyesinde de eğitimler vermiş aynı şekilde İngilizce eğitim içeriğinin tasarlanıp, uygulanması, uygun materyallerin tasarlanması konusunda katkılar sağlamıştır. ***************************************************************************************************************************************** Catherine Baydar was born and educated in England. She has been working in the IUE Prep Program since September 2004. During her time at IUE she has worked in the Materials Development Department and Testing Unit. She has also taken part in committee work during the EQUALS accreditation process and helped organize a Focus on Assessment Issues (FOAI) event. As part of her continuous professional development she has recently successfully completed two certificate programs sponsored by the US Department of State Office for English Language Programs. | |
