| gperson.biography | Doç Dr. Emre Dayanç Doktorası için Fulbright bursiyeri olarak Roswell Park Kanser Enstitüsü Buffalo, NY, ABD’de Tümör İmmünolojisi üzerine çalıştı. Doktora çalışmaları süresinde araştırmaları desteklendi ve çalışmaları 2008 yılında Komen Meme Kanseri Vakfı tez ödülü ile ödüllendirildi. Roswell Park Kanser Enstitüsünde kısa bir post-doktora çalışmasından sonra 2010 yılından itibaren Ankara Bilkent Üniversitesinde doktora sonrası araştırmacı olarak çalıştı. Meslektaşları ile 2012 yılında İnönü Üniversitesinde Moleküler Biyoloji ve Genetik Bölümünü kurdu ve 2013 yılında aynı yerde lisansüstü programını başlattı. 2014 yılında Genetik öğrenci topluluğunu kurdu. 2016 yılında İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi, Tıp Fakültesini kuran öğretim üyeleri arasında yer aldı. Çalışmaları birçok uluslararası dergide yayınlanmış ve 2018 yılı itibariyle 350’nin üzerinde atıf almıştır. ****************************************************************************************************************************************** Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emre Dayanç moved to United States for his Ph.D. with a Fulbright Fellowship and studied Tumor Immunology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute at Buffalo, NY. He was funded throughout his Ph.D. studies and his thesis won the Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Dissertation Research Award in 2008. After a short post-doctoral period at RPCI, he moved to Bilkent University/Ankara as a postdoctoral research associate in 2010. He established the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics with his colleagues at Inonu University in 2012 and established a graduate program there in 2013. He started the INUGENT- Genetics Student Association in 2014. He is among the core team of faculty members who established the Faculty of Medicine at Izmir Economics University in 2016. His studies were published in several internationally indexed journals and they were cited over 350 times as of 2018. | |
