| gperson.biography | Hira Karagülle sırasıyla 1977 ve 1978 yıllarında Ege Üniversitesi Makine Mühendiliği Bölümü’nden lisans ve yüksek lisans derecleri aldı. Doktora öğrenimini 1984 yılında Massachusetts Institue of Technology’de tamamladı. 1986 yılında doçentlik ve 1991 yılında Profesörlük ünvanı aldı. 1984-2021 yılları arasında Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Makine Mühendisliği Bölümü’nde öğretim üyeliği yaptı. Alexander von Humboldt bursu ile Darmstadt Teknik Üniversitesi’nde ve Royal Society bursı ile Southampton Üniversitesi’nde ziyaretçi bilim adamı olarak bulundu. 1993-1998 yılları arasında Kırıkkale Üniversitesi kurucu dekanı olarak görev yaptı. BLM Mekatronik Teknopark-firmasının kurucu ortağıdır. 2021 den beri İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi Mekatronik Mühendisliği Bölümü’nde çalışmaktadır. Araştırma alanları robotik, mekatronik, bilgisayar destekli analiz ve mekanik titreşimlerdir. *************************************************************************************************************************************** Hira Karagülle received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Mechanical Engineering Department at Ege University in 1977 and 1978, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1984. He worked in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Dokuz Eylul University between 1984-2021. He worked as a visiting scientist in Darmstadt Technical University with Alexander von Humbold felllowship and in Southampton University with Royal Society fellowship. He served as the founding dean of Engineering Faculty of Kırıkkale Universty between 1993-1998. He is the founding partner of the Technopark-company BLM Mekatronik. He has been working in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Izmir University of Economics since 2021. His research interests are robotics, mechatronics, computer aided analysis, and mechanical vibrations. | |
