Examining Container Architecture in the Context of Tiny House Movement

Abstract

Mevcut koşullar sürekli olarak değişmekte ve dönüşmektedir. Buradan başlayarak yaşam tarzlarının mevcut koşullar altında nasıl şekillendiğine değinilmiştir. Bu koşullar altında insanların temel ihtiyacı olan barınmaya ilişkin yeni çözümler üretilmektedir. Öncelikle Amerika ve Avustralya'da ortaya çıkan ve tüm dünyaya yayılan küçük ev akımı bu çözümlerden biridir. Küçük ev akımı çoğunlukla sürdürülebilir, erişilebilir, ve konforlu bir yaşam tarzını benimseyen kişiler tarafından tercih edilmektedir. Küçük ev akımının günümüz koşullarında talep edilen isteklere nasıl cevap verdiği ve güncel problemlere ne gibi çözümler sunduğuna değinilmiştir. Akımın temel özellikleri açıklanmıştır. Küçük ev akımı türlerinden biri olan konteyner mimarisinin önemi belirtilmiştir. Konteynerlerin sahip olduğu mekan oluşturmaya yönelik potansiyelle öne çıktığı görülmektedir. Konteynerlerin konut olarak kullanımı kendi içinde türlere ayrılır ve kendine has özellikleri bulunmaktadır. Konteynerlerin sahip olduğu potansiyelin küçük ev akımının sunduğu imkanları nasıl bir üst seviyeye taşıdığına değinilmiştir. Araştırmada Dünya'dan ve Türkiye'den örnekler seçilip literatür taramasında yer alan bilgilerle ilişkili olup olmadığına bakılmıştır.The current conditions are constantly changing and transforming. Starting from here, it is mentioned how lifestyles are shaped under current conditions. With these conditions, new solutions are being produced regarding housing, which is the basic need of people. The tiny house movement, which originated primarily in America and Australia and has spread all over the world, is one of these solutions. The tiny house trend is mostly preferred by people who adopt a sustainable, accessible, and comfortable lifestyle. It was mentioned how the tiny house movement responds to the requests demanded in today's conditions and what solutions it offers to current problems. The basic properties of the current are explained. The importance of container architecture, which is a type of tiny house has been stated. It is seen that containers have the potential for creating space. The use of containers as housing is divided into types in itself and has its own characteristics. It was mentioned how the potential of containers takes the opportunities offered by the tiny house movement to the next level. In the research, case studies from around the world and from Turkey were selected and whether they were related to the information obtained in the literature review was examined.
