ISIK, HÜSEYIN
Meslek hayatına Maliye Müfettiş yardımcı olarak 1989 yılında Maliye Teftiş Kurulu’nda başlamıştır. Maliye Müfettişliği, Maliye Başmüfettişliği, Bütçe ve Mali Kontrol Genel Müdürlüğü Daire Başkanı ve Genel Müdür Yardımcılığı ile Türkiye OECD (Paris) Daimi Temsilciliği Maliye Müşavirliği görevlerinde bulunmuştur. 2017 Temmuz ayından itibaren İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesinde tam zamanlı öğretim üyesi olarak çalışmaya başlamıştır. Halkbankkobi internet sitesi vergi bölümü danışmanlığını yürütmektedir.
Uluslararası vergi hukuku, uluslararası vergi sistemindeki değişimlerin Türk Vergi Sistemine etkileri ve dijital ekonominin vergilendirilmesi alanlarında çalışmaktadır.
Evli ve iki çocuk babasıdır. İyi derece İngilizce orta derece Fransızca bilmektedir.

He was born in 1968 in İzmir Menemen. He finished İzmir Finance Vocational High School and Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences Department of Economics. He received the master degree in economics from the University of Colorado. He received the title of doctor with the thesis titled "Disguised Profit and Disguised Capital in Multinational Companies" from the Istanbul University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Financial Law. This thesis was published in 2005 among the publications of the Ministry of Finance. His book titled “International Taxation” was published in 2014. He taught Public Finance, Money Theory and Money Policy courses at Yıldız Technical University and Hacettepe University. He teaches Financial Law courses at İzmir University of Economics.
He started his career as Assistant Finance Inspector at Finance Inspectorate Board in 1989. Respectively he worked as Finance Inspector, Senior Finance Inspector, Head of Department and Assistant General Manager at General Directorate of Budget and Financial Control, and Financial Counsellor at Permanent Delegation of Turkey to the OECD (Paris). Since July 2017, He has started to work as a full-time faculty member at Faculty of Law at İzmir University of Economics. He provides consultancy for Halkbankkobi website tax department.
He is working on international tax law, the effects of changes in the international tax system on the Turkish Tax System and taxation of the digital economy.
