Biography
Yrd.Doç.Dr. Bahar Gün lisans derecesini 1989 ylında İngilizce Öğretmenliği alanında Anadolu Üniversitesi'nden almıştır. Yüksek lisanısını 1991 yılında aynı alanda Bilkent Üniversitesi MATEFL programında tamamlayarak, 1998 yılında yine Anadolu Üniversitesi'nde Doktora programını tamamlamıştır. 2003 yılından beri İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi'nde çalışmaktadır. Hizmet-içi öğretmen eğitimi ve gelişimi programlarından sorumludur. Akademik ilgi alanları genelde öğretmen eğitimi ve öğretmenlerin mesleki gelişimleri; özelde yasıtmacı öğrenme/öğretme modelleri ve öğretmen algılarıdır.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Bahar Gün received her BA in ELT from the Education Faculty, Anadolu University in 1989; her MA from the MA TEFL Program at Bilkent University in 1991, and her PhD in ELT from Anadolu University in 1998. She is in charge of in-service teacher training and teacher development programs at SFL. Her research interests include EFL teacher education in general, and teacher cognition and reflective teaching and learning in particular.
