gperson.biography Elvan Özkavruk Adanır, Ege Üniversitesi Mühendislik Fakültesi, Tekstil Mühendisliği Bölümü'nden mezun oldu. Yüksek lisans derecesini 1992 yılında, Sanat Yeterliliğini 1997 yılında Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü'nden aldı. 1999 yılında Yardımcı Doçent, 2002 yılında, Doçent ve 2008 yılında Profesör unvanını aldı. Yedi kitap, on bir kitap bölümü ve çok sayıda makale ve bildiri yayımladı. J. Bronowski-B. Mazlish'in "Leonardo'dan Hegel'e Batı Entelektüel Geleneği" adlı kitabını çevirdi. Sanat eserleri uluslararası tekstil sanatı bienallerinde, ulusal ve uluslararası sergilerde sergilenmiş ve uluslararası ile ulusal kalıcı koleksiyonlara kabul edilmiştir. 2011 yılından beri İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar ve Tasarım Fakültesi, Tekstil ve Moda Tasarımı Bölümü Başkanı olarak görev yapmaktadır. Elvan Ozkavruk Adanır graduated from Ege University Faculty of Engineering, Textile Engineering Department. She received her master’s degree in 1992 and Proficiency in Arts in 1997 from Dokuz Eylül University Institute of Social Sciences. She received the title of Assistant Professor in 1999, Associate Professor in 2002 and Professor in 2008. She published seven books, eleven book chapters, many papers and articles. She translated the book written by J. Bronowski-B. Mazlish named “Western Intellectual Tradition from Leonardo to Hegel”. Her art works are exhibited in international textile art biennials, national and international exhibitions and accepted for international and national permanent collections. Since 2011, she has been working as the head of the Department of Textile and Fashion Design, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design in Izmir University of Economics. ***************************************************************************************************************************************** Elvan Ozkavruk Adanır studied textile engineering at Ege University, Faculty of Engineering. She got her masters and doctorate degree in art at Dokuz Eylül University, Institute of Social Sciences respectively in 1992 and 1997. She worked as research assistant, lecturer, assistant professor and associate professor of traditional arts at Dokuz Eylül University between 1990 and 2008. In 2008 she got her professorship from Dokuz Eylül University. She published four books, 22 papers, 8 articles, and 2 book chapters. She translated the book written by J. Bronowski-B. Mazlish named “Western Intellectual Tradition from Leonardo to Hegel”. Her art works are accepted for international permanent collections. She opened several solo exhibitions and attended mixed exhibitions.
