Abstract
Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, proje yönetiminin hizmet zincirlerinde uygulanan farklı yönlerinibelirlemek olarak tanımlanabilir.Tez, hizmet kavramının, geleneksel proje yönetimi tekniklerini ve organizasyon yapılarınıetkileyen yönlerini incelemektedir. Hizmet zincirleri söz konusu olduğunda, tedarik zinciriyönetim ilkeleri, üretim, imalat zincirlerinde olduğundan farklı algılanmalıdır. Bu çalışma,proje yönetiminde lojistik ve diğer hizmet sektörlerinde uygulanabilir yeni bakış açılarıoluşturmak istemektedir. Tez süresince, hizmet sektörlerinin, proje yönetimi kavramının, vetedarik zinciri yönetiminin tipik özellikleri incelenerek, bu temel kavramlar arasında bağlantıkurulmaya çalışılmaktadır.
The main purpose of this thesis is to determine the unique aspects of project managementapplied in the service chains.The study specifically examines the service aspects affecting the traditional projectmanagement tools and the organizational performance. When service chains are the concern,the supply chain management principles have to be perceived different than themanufacturing chains. This study attempts to establish new perspectives to projectmanagement that can be adoptable in logistics as well as other service industries. The majorcharacteristics of service industries, the project management concept and the supply chainmanagement are explored throughout the thesis so that a linkage between these major areascan be provided.
