Abstract

A blocked nose is among the most frequent presenting complaints heard by ENT specialists. Deviation of the nasal septum is a commonly occurring anatomical region for nasal obstruction. Accordingly, septoplasty (i.e., operative remediation of the septum) is often undertaken, mainly to provide the patient with a better quality of life. It is, in fact, the number three most frequently undertaken surgical intervention to the head and neck in the USA [1]. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2023.
