Title: | Reliability assessment of consecutive k-out-of-n systems with two types of dependent components | Authors: | Ozkut, Murat | Keywords: | Copulas reliability mean time to failure consecutive k-out-of-n systems |
Publisher: | Sage Publications Ltd | Abstract: | This paper is about the reliability modeling of a linear consecutive k-out-of-n system that consists of two types of dependent components. The survival function and mean time to failure of such a system are expressed using copulas. Extensive numerical findings are provided for Clayton and Gumbel-type copulas. The survival and mean time to failure behaviors are explored in connection with the value of Kendall's correlation coefficient. | Description: | Article; Early Access | URI: | https://doi.org/10.1177/1748006X221142815 https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.14365/2236 |
