In 2009, Nazlıgül Bozok started studying in the Department of Translation and Interpretation at Izmir University of Economics. During her study, she started her second major in International Relations and the European Union. Having graduated as a high honor student from both departments, she started working with various companies and organizations such as the U.S. Commercial Service, the Netherlands Board of Trade and Japan Tobacco International as a consecutive/simultaneous interpreter. In 2015, she was offered a quite demanding position at NATO Allied Land Command as a Protocol Assistant. Having completed her master's thesis on simultaneous interpreting at Dokuz Eylül University, Nazlıgül Bozok currently pursues a Ph.D. degree in Translation Studies at Istanbul University and has been working as a research assistant at Izmir University of Economics since 2017. Bozok also works on a TUBITAK 1001 Project (220K032) since 2022.
